Long Distance - A move starting and ending when the total number of kms involved is greater than 120 kms. There is a minimum charge for loading and unloading and a charge per km to cover the travel time between locations. Hourly charges for loading and unloading vary depending on time of year and holidays. Loading and Unloading - There is a minimum hourly charge for loading and unloading.

Travel Time - There is a charge per km to cover the travel time between locations. We charge it this way so that bad weather conditions, detours or stopping for meals does not effect the customer's final bill. Charges for travel time can be reduced through your flexibility of the timing of your move. We can usually consolidate your move with other customers to avoid a truck traveling only half full or returning empty. In which case, both customers would share the travel charge.
